We provide here a continuously up-dated library of narrated presentations by members of 4CMR, Partners and visitors. Feel free to download them and play at your leisure. In each case, you will need to have PowerPoint or similar software on your computer, enable the sound system, and select Slide Show. The presentation will then play automatically. Click on the link to download the file. A short description of the presentation is provided below the link so you can select presentations of most interest.

Check back periodically, as we update this library regularly.
Members of 4CMR recently participated in an event organised by Sustainability East. The presentations can be viewed here. A recording of the round table discussion can be found here.
Download the narrated files of presentations in the Seminar on The Design, Construction and Governance of Sustainable Communities, offered weekly through 4CMR during each term.
Topics. The narrated Power Point files containing the lectures themselves can be downloaded. Several have been broken into parts (A, B, etc) because the file size of a narrated file is otherwise too large. Download a narrated file, open in Power Point, show as Slide Show with your speaker activated at close to full volume. Watch each slide as long as you wish and then use the right arrow on your keyboard to advance to the next slide (otherwise, the slide will advance automatically after a few seconds). The narration will follow the slides as you move through them. They appear on this site after the topic has appeared in the seminar.

GreenCYCLES Summer Programme
Download the narrated files of a presentation to the GreenCYCLES students in Peyresq, France on 22 May, 2011. This is in four parts because of file size.
The presentation concerns the development of "emulator" models of climate change that allow simulation of the impact of policies concerning population growth, energy use, land use and the carbon cycle. The models are explained also in the Study Guide, and were provided to the students in the workshop for use in exercises.
Climate Change Policy in Mexico
For a project with the national government of Mexico, and the United Nations Environment Programme, we created some narrated Powerpoint presentations describing a previous study at 4CMR of decarbonisation of the Mexican economy. You can download these here in English or in Spanish.
